The NIBCO® BenchPressG® carbon steel female adapter features a yellow HNBR O-ring and stainless steel gripper ring. Simply applying pressure from a pressing tool tightens the O-ring onto the pipe, ensuring a clean and secure seal in seconds with no threading required. The female adapter has a press connection and female NPT thread. These fittings provide a method for adapting a press connection to a threaded connection.
